Services
So you're writing something and want some help? That's wonderful! As a lover of stories and writing, I would be so excited to work with you to make your project exactly what you want it to be.
While I primarily work with poetry, I also have experience editing and brainstorming fiction and non-fiction. I am an assistant editor for a Canadian literary arts magazine and have edited PhD dissertations and short stories that have been chosen for publication.

As a writer, feedback is so important in developing your skill. But finding someone whose voice and vision matches yours can be tricky. I have been part of multiple creative writing workshops and strive to be a useful and encouraging creative partner.

Do you have questions I would be the right fit for your project? Or maybe you are looking for a service I haven't listed. Send me an email, I'd be happy to hear from you.

Poetry Editing
Editing poetry is my ultimate passion. Whether you are a beginner poet or a seasoned professional, I can lend a sharp and close eye to your poetry. I am open to working with you at whatever stage you're in; Whether it is a single poem or a whole collection. I charge $25 per poem.
2
Short Story Editing
Whether you are writing a story for a family member for their birthday or are working on a story to submit to a literary magazine, I will give your story close attention, asking questions necessary to make sure your final story reflects the amazing vision in your mind. I charge $15 per page.
3
Academic Editing
Writing academically can feel dry and boring but there are few things I love more than having an argument and finding crafty and exciting ways to support it. I can point out gaps in your argument, help you find the balance between formal and persuasive writing, and highlight where and how to restructure your paper to make it as effective as possible.

Together we will pick a book that suits your club, and then I'll give a little introduction about how to read a book of poetry. When your club meets, I'll guide the discussion to help everyone feel empowered and excited about their newfound skill of reading poetry!
